Only those that do the WILL OF GOD will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. That is what Jesus states in Matthew 7:21-23. The Will of God is the 10 commandments. You can find those here. The Will of God is also what Jesus says are the greatest commandments, Luke 10:27-28 “Love God with All of your Heart, Mind and strength and then Love your neighbor as yourself” Sounds simple enough? Many people believe that they are living this way. They do everything correctly according to the Will of God. They are living a Holy and righteous life. But is that enough? Jesus says no! He clearly state in Matthew 7:21-23 if you do not KNOW HIM then your works are done in iniquity. They fall short because these works are not executed in the Spirit of the Living God. These works were not born out of the intimacy of the marriage between your Spirit and the Spirit of the Living God. The Spirit of the Living God that dwells within you! If you do not have this awareness when you are doing “works” of any kind then our works while noble and good are done in vain. Sounds like a harsh teaching. It is and it isn’t. It is difficult from a physical perspective but easy from a Spiritual perspective. If you are born again in the Spirit you will experience this intimacy with God and you will KNOW Him and from that awareness your entire life will change and everyone you know will see the difference in your life. When you re born a gain in the Spirit of the Living God then what Jesus says about doing the Will of God becomes effortless and easy and that which we do from that Knowing and awareness is done according to God’s will and not our own. Our works are born out of purity and love without any expectation of getting something in return. If our life is a continual struggle mentally and physically then we are not fully aware and fully living in the presence of the Holy Spirit that dwells within us. If we are operating from that limited awareness then our works fall short of the glory of God because however slight there is iniquity in our works because we always expect something in return whether that be praise, money, a compliment, any type of accolade however so slight. Then you may ask how can all of what I do while on earth be worthy of God. Jesus says it clearly. I will repeat again here. Luke 10:27-28. “Love God with all of your heart, mind and strength” When you Know God intimately then you will be able to execute the next command from Jesus. “Love your neighbor as you would love Yourself” If you do not KNOW GOD intimately you do not Love God with all of your heart, mind and soul. Period. It is that simple and that difficult. Look inside and see if you truly Love God with All of your Heart, Mind and Strength. Listen to Mirror Mirror.
