“With the Faith the grain of a mustard seed you shall say to that mountain move and it shall move.” Matthew 17:20
Faith has nothing to do with believing in a doctrine or dogma of any religion. Faith is not subscribing to a set of truths and rules on how to live and what to believe established by any religion. Being brought up in the “faith” of the Catholic Church or the faith of any other religions whether that be Jewish or Muslim or any of the Eastern traditions is not really what faith is.
What is faith? Faith is the believing and surrendering to the unseen forces and powers of God- the full power of light and love-that are working through you and around you and assisting you in your life at all times. Whatever you ask for believing you shall receive. Matthew 21:22
this force of God’s love and light only responds to true faith. These forces are the vibrational forces that are emanating from God within you and around you! Can you imagine the profound power of God that we have access to through perfect love which is perfect faith because all we need is the faith of a tiny tiny tiny grain of a mustard seed.
Why does Jesus use the grain of a mustard seed in his example of moving a mountain? Jesus wanted to imprint in our heart and mind that all you need is a wee bit of faith and mountains literally shall be removed from within you. Mountains of doubt, unbelief, mistrust, anger, hatred….all of the demons that keep us spiritually blocked from receiving the gifts from God that are our Divine birthright. Mustard seeds are extremely tiny seeds yet they grown into one of the largest plants in the garden. Jesus was literally saying that if you have Faith (Belief without doubt or any inner resistance) that something you want will be given to you, it will be given to you. It will manifest in your personal experience. No person, no thing, no government, no country, no state, no one can stand in the way of getting what you want when you have faith in the unseen power of God’s mighty hand. God will deliver it to you. Obstacles will disappear. Without lifting a finger everything will fall into place. Have the faith of a child or that of an infant and that faith will be powerful. Children nor infants question anything. They are beings of love and perfection. As Jesus says in ‘Matthew 21:16
“Do you hear what these children are saying?” they asked him.
“Yes,” replied Jesus, “have you never read,
“‘From the lips of children and infants
you, Lord, have called forth your praise’a]?”
And it is this kind of Faith that you must have in order for God to lavish you with his love and gifts. Seek you first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be given unto you. Matthew 6:33
And remember that kind of faith is compared to a tiny tiny tiny mustard seed which grows into a Huge life giving plant.
