“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many mansions; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.” John 14 1-4
What does Jesus mean when he says in my Father’s house there are many mansions and that He will prepare a place for you?
It is the amount of LOVE that you have in your heart mind and soul for Him that determines which heavenly realm or mansion that you will arrive at when you depart from this physical realm and it is this mansion that you will await Jesus’ return. As Jesus says He will go and prepare a place for you. He then promises us that when that time comes, when he returns, He will come for you to be with Him and the Father.
Then Thomas asks Him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.” John 14: 5-7.
To the degree that we have perfect love for Jesus and the Father, we know the Way, the Truth and the Life which will lead us to the mansion that Jesus prepares for us.
Many (Infinite) Mansions
There are infinite mansions in God’s heavenly realms. What are these mansions? These mansions are realms of the Spirit. These mansions are realms of Conscious States of Love. These mansions are NOT physical. Jesus is NOT describing tribes of Israel, or tabernacles in Catholic Churches, or different religions, or parishes within the Catholic System, or denominations of Christians, etc. et. If anyone interprets Many Mansions like that they do not see nor do they hear correctly. I have read interpretations of these mansions of which Jesus speaks by modern theologians and in fact old time theologians and they have no clue of what Jesus means. When you Know God and see through the eyes of the Spirit of God, you know that These Mansions are Spiritual, Conscious States of Awareness. God is Spirit, Our Soul is Spirit. To the degree that we KNOW and LOVE God and Jesus in our Heart, Mind, Body and Soul is where we enter with our Spirit when we depart from the physical realm. The perfect realm where Jesus sits at the right hand of God can only be accessed though Perfect Love. The Perfect Love that Jesus and our Father have for all of his children. As Jesus says, Be Ye Perfect as your Heavenly Father is perfect. Matthew 5:48. For most us this is a very difficult proposition. Therefore we must remain steadfast in prayer, reading of the World of God, and daily surrender mind, body and soul to Jesus and our Heavenly Father until we have been transformed through the fire of the Holy Spirit into a being of Perfect Love. We, too, must become the Way, the Truth and the Life just as Jesus is the Way the Truth and the Life. That is the only way that we too can know the way. If we fall short of perfect Love in Christ we await Jesus in the Mansion that He prepares for us when departing this physical realm. But KNOW as he promises that He will come for us when He returns and at that time He transforms you perfectly into the perfection of Love that He is and then you will ascend with Him to the realm of perfect LOVE where our Heavenly Father dwells and where Jesus Sits at his right Hand.
