The Story
At the center of MIRRORS® is Adam Caldwell, an acclaimed composer, devoted husband and loving father.
Outwardly, Adam appears to have built a successful life. But beneath that success is a persistent feeling that something is wrong. He is tormented by the feeling that something happened to him when he was a child... something he cannot remember.
Music has always been his refuge. When words failed him, he could escape into writing music. But now, writing music no longer satisfies him. And his wife and children are also slowly fading from view.
Something deep within his soul keeps gnawing at him.
Desperately, Adam attempts to write the greatest musical masterpiece of his life, believing that somehow it will satisfy this torment. But the more frantically he searches for the music, the further it eludes him.
Then, one night, Adam begins to hear mysterious music begin to play— not in his mind, but in his study.
Music from another world.
The music draws him further and further into another dimension of time and space. And slowly, Adam realizes something terrifying:
He is no longer in control.
The music has taken control of Adam. But is that true?
The World He Enters
The music leads Adam into Club Netti Netti®, a nightclub unlike anything he has ever experienced.
The performers are not from this world. They seem to exist somewhere beyond ordinary time and space. They appear to Adam as Angels and Fallen Ones... but they could be something entirely different.
Adam soon realizes that these performers know everything he has hidden from the world...and from himself.
They know his desires. His fears. His relationships. The memories that have shaped his life.

MIRRORS® moves between the mysterious, the sensual, the comic and the deeply human.
Club Netti Netti® can be seductive, provocative and playful. Its inhabitants are not simply there to frighten Adam or lead him toward darkness. They know exactly how to tempt him into remaining inside the familiar stories he has created about himself.
But beneath the spectacle is something much more intimate.
Adam is beginning to discover that the life he thought he understood may contain an entirely different story.
And at the center of that story is a woman who has always understood the value of being alive—his beloved grandmother, Magda.

Magda is Adam's protector and one of the great emotional forces of his childhood.
She doesn't wait for life to become perfect before celebrating it. She believes in laughter, mischief, love, family, music and making room for one more heart.
Her philosophy is simple:

and by then your life may have already passed.
What Lies Beneath
Beneath Magda’s fun and lively exterior is a wise and deeply spiritual woman. As the High Priestess of Club Netti Netti®, she becomes one of Adam’s guides. As he moves deeper into the Club, the mystery of the music begins to reveal its purpose. The Angels and Fallen Ones tempt, tease, seduce and guide him toward remembering what happened to him as a little boy—the memory he has buried and forgotten.
As Adam’s past begins to take physical form within Club Netti Netti®, his memories awaken the Club, and the Club comes alive. Angelo and Muriel guide him deeper into the mystery, while Azazel seduces him and Samael confronts what he would rather leave buried. Magda reminds him of the love that existed before he ever understood it, while beyond them all, the Master quietly invites Adam to see himself without illusion.
As Adam confronts memory, fear, shame, desire, loss, love and forgiveness, his relationships begin to change and his understanding of himself begins to shift. Yet throughout it all, the music that first drew him into the Club becomes impossible to ignore.
Adam has spent his life believing the masterpiece will finally tell the world who he is.
Slowly, he discovers that the music may not be there to satisfy his torment...
It may be there to help him remember who he was before he learned to hide.
